Why flash an ODES Pathcross?
The Pathcross 525 runs a Bosch calibration written for emission tests, which leaves it lean at small throttle openings and soft at low speed. A reflash smooths the throttle, corrects the fuelling for an exhaust or intake change and lets you set the limits for your use.
ODES ECU
The 2024-onwards Pathcross 525 uses the Bosch MSE6.0 ECU, read and written through the diagnostic connector with a Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 or CANable. The same ECU is used across many Segway, GOES and CFMoto models.
Flashing an ODES, step by step
- Keep the battery on a charger.
- Connect a Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 or CANable to the diagnostic connector.
- Read the ECU and save the original file.
- Edit the maps or load the file from your tuner.
- Write it back. MotoFlasher corrects the checksum.
