Why flash a Moto Guzzi ECU?
Guzzi’s transverse V-twins are all about torque and character, and the factory calibration hides some of both: lean fuelling at small throttle openings, a hesitant pick-up and a hot-running engine in traffic. After an exhaust change the problem gets worse. A reflash puts the fuelling and the response right.
Moto Guzzi ECU families
- Marelli IAW 11MP (TC277): the V7 Stone and V85 TT from 2021, the V100 Mandello from 2022 and the Stelvio from 2024.
- Marelli MIU G4: the V9 from 2021.
Both are read and written through the diagnostic connector. The IAW 11MP is the same ECU family used by Aprilia.
What riders change on a Moto Guzzi
