Why flash a GOES ATV?
GOES quads are built for work and for trails, but their Bosch calibration is written for emission tests: lean at small throttle openings, with a soft response at low speed, where an ATV spends most of its time. A reflash smooths the throttle, corrects the fuelling for an exhaust or intake change and lets you set limits for your use.
GOES ECU families
- Bosch MSE6.0: the Cobalt 550, Copper 300, Iron 400, Terrox 400S and 500L EPS, and XWolf 700.
- Bosch MED17: the Terrox 1000 (2025 onwards).
Both are read and written through the diagnostic connector with a Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 or CANable.
